EDUCATIONAL PROGRAMS AT LUX :  APEX AND LXSP

Lux Dental is proud to announce that it is an academic center as well.  Lux Dental is an accredited internship sight for Boston University/Goldman School of Dental Medicine dental students.  As a part of the APEX program, these students participate and are exposed to various activities including clinical, administrative, and auxiliary staff duties.  Upon approval, one student, either first or third year in training, rotates each semester through Lux Dental.  Dr. Abdul holds a Clinical Instructor position at Boston University School of Dental Medicine and serves as the Chief Dental Instructor at Lux Dental.  For more information on the APEX program, please visit:  http://dentalschool.bu.edu/apex/

Additionally, Lux Dental welcomes applicants to our Lux Shadowing Program (LXSP).  We have prospective pre-dental students from a variety of backgrounds that matriculate through this program and are exposed to all disciplines of dentistry including prosthetics, periodontal and implant surgery, root canal therapy, cosmetic rehabilitation, restorative therapy, full mouth rehabilitation, and medically compromised care.
